The Art Cocoon is an online art gallery, with a mission to discover and promote international emerging and established artists. Our aim is to make it easy to acquire beautiful and inspiring art in three simple steps: Explore, Discover, and Buy!.

Each piece is hand-selected and authenticated, ensuring quality throughout the collection. All artworks displayed are exclusively exhibited and sold on The Art Cocoon gallery. 

How do I search for art at The Art Cocoon?

Select GALLERY from the navigation menu, and browse our current art database. We offer the ability to sort artworks by Medium, Colour, Style, Size, and Price. You can also browse by artist, by selecting ARTISTS in the navigation menu, either EXHIBITED or REPRESENTED. 

What type of artwork do you exhibit? 

The Art Cocoon exhibits original art created by top new and established artists from all over the world. Our collection displays artworks of two-dimensional and three-dimensional mediums.

What is the procedure to buy an artwork?

Purchasing artwork on The Art Cocoon is simple. All items on the site are available for sale, and may be purchased directly through the site, except those artworks that are indicated as ‘Sold Out’. To purchase an artwork, simply click on the picture of the artwork you want to buy, and click ‘Add to Cart’. Next, choose ‘Continue Shopping’, or ‘Checkout’. When you are ready to checkout click the 'Cart' button on the top right of the page and follow the steps to complete your purchase. 

How do I know if an item is available?

All items are available for sale unless indicated as “Sold Out.” We do our best to keep the site's database current, and only in rare instances it may occur when an item’s sold-out status is not immediately updated. Should you purchase an item that we learn is no longer available, The Art Cocoon will notify you and promptly issue a full refund.


What payment methods does The Art Cocoon accept?

Currently PayPal is the primary payment method used on the website. Otherwise, you can contact us at contact@theartcocoon.com and request for details regarding paying through a bank transfer or Western Union transfers.


Do I need to register to place an order?

No, you don’t need to register in order to purchase an artwork. Simply browse the site, discover artworks you love, purchase and enjoy. You can always sign up to our newsletter to receive our latest news and artist collaborations, special offers, and an exclusive preview of new inventory.


How are shipping costs determined?

Shipping costs are determined based on the price, dimensions, and weight of the item purchased, as well as by the item’s origin and the shipping destination. Shipping costs include all packaging, handling, and insurance fees. To estimate shipping costs on your order, add the desired item(s) to your shopping cart and enter your shipping location on your Cart page. In such cases where the shipping cost is more or less than what we calculated, we will contact you with the correct shipping cost for your approval before shipping your art. We work with several international shippers to guarantee you the safest, most affordable shipping option. Additionally, artwork may be subject to duties, taxes and/or fees according to each countries laws. Please consult your local customs office for more details about duties and taxes.


Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We are happy to ship artworks to any destination in the world. Please note, the duration of delivery depends on the destination country, and its customs procedures.


When will my order be shipped?

Processing and shipping times vary according to the purchased item, its origin, and the shipping destination. Most orders are processed and shipped within 10 to 14 business days. However, some items may be processed faster, while others might take more time, particularly if they require special packaging or handling. The expected processing time for each object is noted on the item detail page under “Shipping.” When your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number. You can check the status of your package and the estimated delivery date online by using the tracking number.


When will my order be delivered?

This depends on your location and the location of the artist. Original artworks and limited edition prints usually arrive within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days from time of order, depending on the origin and destination of the artwork as well as the time it takes to clear in customs. From time of shipping, the artwork will usually arrive at the buyer's destination between seven (7) to ten (10) business days, barring any delays due to customs clearance. But the artwork can also reach sooner. Possible delivery delays: If you live in an area experiencing severe weather, natural disasters, or any other unforeseen major events, your package may be delayed. Please add an additional 2 - 3 business days to the estimated delivery date of your order. Also, in some countries, the customs clearing process may take as long as thirty (30) days. Please check your government's international shipping policies for more detailed information.


What shall I expect to receive with my delivery? 
For every artwork you purchase we send you a Certificate of Authenticity issued by The Art Cocoon that is hand-signed by the artist. This is to prove that the artwork is authentic and genuine-certified by the artist’s signature. 


Can I return a piece of artwork that I have purchased?

Yes, you can. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all artwork. Please refer to our Return Policy here for more information.

What should I do if I receive a damaged item?

All damaged items must be reported through email within seven (7) days of delivery. To file a damage report, send detailed photographs of the damage to support@theartcocoon.com, along with your name, order number, and the item name. Our Customer service will come back to you to advise you on how to proceed. For more information please refer to the Return Policy here.


How are artworks authenticated?

All original artworks purchased from The Art Cocoon are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist. Each artwork is also signed by the artist himself/herself. All limited edition art are also numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.


What framing options does The Art Cocoon offer?

Currently we do not offer any framing options. In some cases the artists may offer a framing option for specific artworks. Please check the details of the artwork you are interested in to see the available options offered by the artist. 

What is a limited edition artwork?

Fine art editions offer an affordable and accessible way to build an art collection. Limited Edition artworks can vary in medium (e.g. prints or sculptures) and are produced at one time by the artist in a limited number. No additional artworks are ever produced beyond the determined edition number, which is why they remain valuable investment opportunities.


Do you work with artists directly?

Yes we do.


Can I request to see more artworks by a particular artist?

Yes, you can! Please contact us via email at contact@theartcocoon.com and we will address your request as best we can. You can always register to our newsletter list to stay updated with the latest inventory additions of our art database.


In which currency are the artworks sold?

All the prices of the artworks at The Art Cocoon are in USD $ currency.
